Attendance & Registers

The register is the job. We made it take two taps.

Everyone starts present, because that is the common case. Teachers mark the exceptions, the count updates as they go — and if the network drops, the register is saved on the device and sent exactly once when signal returns.

A register where everyone starts present — mark only the exceptions.

Why schools choose it

Attendance, done thoughtfully.

1

Built for the classroom, not the office

The register is the first thing a teacher sees. On a normal morning it is two taps: open it, save it. Only the exceptions need attention.

2

Nothing lost, nothing written twice

Registers taken offline are queued with a unique key. When the connection returns they send themselves once — a queue you can review or discard, but never have to babysit.

3

One number, everywhere

Dashboards, parent screens and report cards all use the same attendance rule, banded by your school's own policy. There are never two figures to reconcile.

What’s inside

Everything in attendance & registers.

  • Present-by-default registers with one-tap exceptions (absent, late)
  • Registers generated from the timetable — running it twice adds nothing
  • Offline queue with automatic, exactly-once sync and a 'Waiting to send' screen
  • Live attendance against your policy target, with dips flagged for the principal
  • Day-by-day attendance history for every child, visible to their guardians
  • Attendance bands that follow your school's policy, not a fixed vendor rule
  • Works on the desktop and web apps (iOS and Android coming soon)

Questions

About attendance & registers.

Does it really work with no internet?

Yes. When a teacher saves a register without a connection, it is queued on the device with a unique key. When signal returns it is sent automatically, and the server records it exactly once even if the device retries.

Can we use our own attendance policy?

Yes. Attendance bands are set by your school's policy, and the same rule feeds dashboards, parent screens and report cards so the numbers always agree.

Do parents get notified about absences?

Notifications are configurable per person by channel — in-app, push, email — with quiet hours and an optional daily digest. Emergency notices always get through.
